Senate Bill 6143 and the Southern Resident Killer Whales
There is a small endangered amount of Orcas called the SRKW (Southern Resident Killer Whales) I was intrigued by the Orcas and started to do my research on them, I quickly figured out that our Orcas are endangered because of humans, and because of this the SRKW population has and is severely reducing.
I contacted three of my legislative district legislators about this.
Kennedy Space Center
During this winter break we had the opportunity to visit the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. It was a fantastic day learning about NASA, the space race, the Apollo mission and the current Artemis mission. We even met an astronaut, Norm Thagard!
